Immediate Needs

Our Immediate Needs

This project is at a very early stage. We are looking for:

  • Farmers and landowners in West Cork—to discuss the idea, share practical insights, and help refine a model that works for working land and wildlife. Your experience and perspective are essential.
  • Solicitor with experience in land law, agricultural leases, or conservation agreements—to advise on and help draft clear, fair, and durable lease agreements that protect all parties.
  • An estate agent or land agent familiar with rural West Cork—who knows local ownership patterns and can help identify suitable parcels and approach owners respectfully and effectively.
  • Accountant or tax advisor with knowledge of agricultural and environmental finance—to advise on tax implications, payment structures, grants (while noting we want to minimize onerous conditions), and overall financial setup.
  • People who care about Irish wildlife — volunteers, local naturalists, or supporters willing to help make this happen through promotion, practical work, or building the sponsor community.

We are starting in West Cork, so if you’re based there (or have strong connections), please get in touch.
